Why are Drill Necessary - David Lee - founder of Gravity Golf

Danny Lee Gravity Golf
Danny Lee of Gravity Golf : While a professionally qualified "Gravity Golf" trainer at 24 years of age, Daniel Lee is highly developed and advanced greatly beyond his youthful age in understanding, skill and experience. He has been golfing earnestly since he was 13 and is presently teaching around the world and developing junior / youth programs.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Daniel grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where David and Debi Lee, his parents, owned and operated an exquisite golf instruction and development center close to Lake Ouachita. Daniel's dad, David Lee, is the founder and developer of the "Gravity Golf" training method and is well known as one of the top golf trainers and developers to both professional players and amateurs in the United States.

Having grown up constantly around David's golf facility and training schools has given Daniel an intensive and in-depth professional comprehension and understanding of every aspect of the game of golf - from putting, to chipping, pitching, sand, recovery, to the driver. Though his own swing is an excellent and eloquent model of the Gravity Golf Physics, one of his best qualities is his ability to communicate the mechanics, concepts and drills to amateurs and professional golfers alike (whis is not so for many advanced players, including many touring pros).

Though he is still quite young in age, Daniel has trained golfers from all kinds of diverse backgrounds at Princeville Golf Course in Kauai, Hawaii, California, New York, New Mexico, Florida,Carnival Cruise Lines, and other national and international locations. He has also trained alongside PGA professionals like Lee Trevino and many more.

Daniel not only serves as a product and model of the Gravity Golf System (he serves as the swing model for all the drills on the Gravity Golf Site), as a trainer and teacher, he can easily discover power leaks and other technical short-comings and challenges in both amateurs and professionals. He has developed a keen instinct for helping to motivate his students while putting their minds at ease. Currently he is available for schools, clinics, and private lessons by appointment, and can be contacted by E-mail at "gravitygolf" "@" "gmail.com" or by calling 501-617-2132

"Danny:  Thank you for all your time this weekend.  As I was telling you at the end of the day on Sunday, you never know when you put your money down on something if it is going to be worth it.  I can say with 100% conviction that the three days and money spent was more than worth it.  The time you spent with us individually was outstanding.  Plus it really helps to see how other people in our group adapt to the concepts.  Keep up the good work!"

- Dana H. Dayton, Ohio

"For a young man of his age, he really knows his stuff!"

-Lee Trevino, PGA Champion

- Joo Young-Lee, Ohio Junior Amateur Champion, 2010

"John Wilkinson is a great communicator and shares this unique gift and his passion for the game, to enthusiastically teach all levels of golfers to become the best they can be."

- Kristal Parker, LPGA Touring Professional

"..most importantly, is his desire and effective ability to instill and build confidence in all his students."

- Mike Leidy, Head Golf Coach, Lima-Bath HS

Aaron Schulman

Aaron Schulman, is 37 years old and has a wonderful wife, Jennifer and 3 daughters. He has been an avid and competitive golfer since the age of 13 after his grandfather introduced him to the game of golf. Shortly after, he qualified for varsity golf as a freshman at Canfield High School and became one of only a few 4-year lettermen, and helped lead their junior and senior year teams to a 3rd place and a 2nd place trophy in the Ohio State Tournaments for OHSAA. He played Collegiate golf, winning several junior and collegiate tournaments in OHSAA and NAIA.

After many years of frustration through other golf training methods, he walked away from golf in his early 20s knowing with the information he had, he could not reach the level of consistent play he desired. A few years later, his wife found an old set of Gravity Golf tapes and he was instantly hooked! He wondered he had not found Gravity Golf earlier, but after beginning his training, all of the regret disappeared.

Aaron teaching experience has involved individuals, groups, high school and collegiate players.

More recently, he has joined the Gravity Golf Team as Director of Marketing and one of the lead instructors for Ohio-based programs. He personally works alongside Danny Lee and has received training from his father David Lee.

He is available for clinics, schools and private lessons at "aaron" "@" "gravitygolfohio.com" or by calling 614-372-6142.

"Aaron, thanks for you help. I tried the new backswing today and my drives went about 25 yards farther."

-J.R. Columbus, Ohio

"After spending much time with Aaron, I have found him to be one of the most patient and endearing people and instructors I have ever met."

-Daniel Lee - Co Owner Gravity Golf Inc.

Why are Gravity Golf Drills Necessary?

Every golfer would find comfort in knowing that when they were practicing alone – without the eyes and suggestions of their teacher – they are still practicing perfectly. That’s exactly the advantage one gets from the Gravity system.

The single greatest problem that all players face at one time or another during their training lies in the development of compensations for improper swing technique. Any time power is incorrectly applied – the result is a reduction in core-speed through impact as well as a shift in the swing-path. The path will invariably move from out to in coming down, or “over the top.” That’s not merely my opinion – it’s a physics law. When the player senses a change in swing-path – and oftentimes when he doesn’t sense it – the instinct is to compensate for the path-change through various solutions like aiming farther to the right (right handed player), weakening the grip, changing the ball position, or by making a change in posture. Doing any of these things doesn’t make the swing correct – they are just “band aid” fixes that usually bring only temporary results. If the swing is to be totally correct from both a physics and physiological perspective, the recipe must be exactly right at the address position and for the first foot of the swing. Assuming that the posture is correct at the beginning, and that the swing is set into motion properly, all the subsequent timing “dominoes” will fall automatically. Jack Nicklaus flatly states in one of his books that he knows by the time the club moves “one foot” in the back-swing, whether or not he will hit the ball perfectly. What you can glean from that comment is that the swing must start properly for it to end properly. The big question is in knowing that your “recipe” for doing so is correct.

The unique “Gravity” Golf drills magnify issues in power application and allow the player to feel exactly which muscles are firing that should not be, and also to feel the ones that should be. The drills work like an MRI on your mechanics so that proper self-diagnosis becomes very easy. Many players have developed a terrific Gravity swing without help from others simply by doing the exercises. We can certainly help with your understanding of how the swing should ideally function, as well as aiding you in speeding up your development.

Isolating perfect technique in your body takes work – don’t think for a minute that it doesn’t. Imagine, however, the advantage you’ll enjoy when you are essentially capable of becoming your own instructor and that you are developing at the fastest rate possible. That’s what these incredible exercises enable you to accomplish. Study them – they really work!
